Plan ahead for next year...
Members who want to exhibit a horse at the King County Fair must meet these requirements:
- Complete club and county membership registration
- Complete a record book documenting project-related activities, expenses and results
- Complete public presentation at club level or beyond
- Show in at least two 4-H shows, at least one in King County
- Participate in at least one King County 4-H equine judging competition
- Complete 10 hours of community service
- Regularly attend club meetings
Tessa and Sara celebrate their new medals. Tessa earned a bronze in hunt seat and Sara earned a bronze in stock seat as well as Reserve Champion in Saddleseat Equitation.
Elizabeth and Texas race through the key on their way to the Grand Championship for the event. Elizabeth was also third in figure 8 and fourth in showmanship.
Mounted Mischief had more gamers than ever -- Allison, Jessie, Elizabeth, Natasha, Natalie and Aly.
Katy and Major had a great first year at the King County Fair, earning reserve champion in Junior Cross Rails and Grand Champion in Junior Versatility.
Natalie and Romeo had a great time at fair, earning Reserve Grand Champion in Junior Hunt Seat Equitation.
Tessa shows off her Grand Champion Hunt Seat Equitation trophy. Tessa was also Reserve Champion in Showmanship and Stock Seat Equitation.
Katie had a great fair making the championships in several events and winning Reserve Champion in Bareback Equitation.
Shauna's hard work this year paid off as she made several championship classes and earned a spot on the Intermediate State Team.
Johannah and Mack were Grand Champions in Novice Intermediate Stock Seat and Reserve Champions in Novice bareback.
Emily and Lacie treated everyone to a beautiful driving performance. They will be representing King County in Driving at State Fair.
Melissa is 1st alternate on the Dressage Team for her 1st place finish in 1st Level Dressage. Elizabeth earned a spot on the team with her Reserve Champion finish in the Training Level division.
Congratulations to Mati for earning Reserve Champion in Intermediate Novice Showmanship.
Allison and Stacie proved that size doesn't matter when it comes to making the State Team. Riding 14.3 hand Bree, Allison won Reserve Champion in Trail. Stacie rode 17+ hand Giselle to Grand Champion in Hunt Seat Equitation.
Dori had a successful fair showing her Green Horse project Blackie.
Jessie just missed out on the big payoff in the
ride-a-buck game but did place first in Senior Saddle Seat Equitation.
