Herdsmanship
Sign-ups began at our June 28 meeting.  Please contact Valerie regarding scheduling your time.  We need an adult or senior member on duty at all times plus one or two other members.  The shifts are two hours a piece.  Exhibitors and an adult family member(s) are asked to sign up for two shifts each.  It can be during your section or another, your choice.  Adults are asked to supervise only, the members clean, water, sweep, etc.
Meals at Camperville
Barb Franks and Lisa Wendt are coordinating food/meals for camperville.  We keep a community atmosphere going where we share in providing meals and supplies.  Each family, even if exhibiting, is asked to contribute.  Please sign up for two meals or meal/snack time.  Some sections may be only for about 15 people whereas seniors will be about 35.  We plan for three meals and one snack a day starting with dinner on Friday, July 13, through lunch on Sunday, July 22.  Please also bring a case of some beverage (water, juice, pop) with your meal.  There will be a gas BBQ.  If you have a cooler that you can leave for the whole time, please do.  Ice is our number expense in camperville.  Please bring some when you can.  The club will provide condiments, utensils, napkins, etc..  Please review the 4-H Dress Code for appropriate attire.
Things To Bring To Fair
Click on this link for a Word document for a list of Things To Bring To Fair.  This is a great starting point.  Be sure to add anything else you may need remember.  Fair weather is usually quite hot but it has also rained.  Even in hot weather the nights can be very cool and there can be a lot of dew in the mornings.  Keep an eye on the weather reports and plan accordingly.
