Fundraising Tips and Info: This is an Excel workbook with three sheets. The first has sponsor info and pertains primarily to the Judging but can be adapted for other things. The next sheet has a sample script for members to use when asking for donations. The last has a 8x11" color receipt to be left with the sponsor. Click below to download.

Book: "The Horse Show Mom's Survival Guide" by Susan S Daniels. One parent found this book to be a helpful and humorous resource for learning about the world of horse shows. It does not cover 4-H specifically but is valuable nonetheless.

This online group serves primarily as an email list for the King County 4-H Horse Project. All King County youth members, volunteers and interested adults are welcome to join. You'll have to establish a Yahoo! sign-on if you don't already have one. Then you ask for permission to join the group and are emailed an acceptance in a few days.
The club has a collection of jackets, vests, breeches, pants and boots that can be borrowed from the clothing bank. These are primarily show clothes. Anyone can use the clothes in the bank. There is no charge. It is not a huge collection but you may find something you can use. On the flip side, if you have clothing items you are no longer using and would like to donate we will gladly accept them. You can use a tax receipt for your donation.
