Mounted Mischief 4-H Club was founded in 2000 to provide a safe, supportive environment to learn about horses.  Since then, we've grown into one of the largest and most vibrant horse 4-H clubs in King County.  Most of our members either own their own horse or have access to one through a lease.  Members range from novice to advanced riders.  In most months, our regular business meetings are on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Meredith Hill Elementary School in Federal Way.  We meet in the cafeteria.
Mounted Mischief welcomes members of all horse-related interests and breed preferences. We stress having fun while making new friends, behaving safely, setting and achieving personal goals, helping others achieve their goals, showing good sportsmanship and becoming a more competent rider.
Fun and educational activities include:
  • Riding clinics with 4-H judges
  • Judging contests
  • Community service projects
  • Horseback and horseless parties
  • Field trips

4-H Motto:
To Make the Best Better!
Stacie & Bambi looking fabulous for Saddle Seat.  They went on to place 6th in State in Saddle Seat and are the Grand Champions in King County Dressage.
Melissa & Paladin finished the season in great style placing 4th in State in Dressage!
Our Riders Continue to Excel!!
Elizabeth:  Four medals in just a couple of weeks:  Bronze in Key Race, Bronze in Trail,  Silver in Stock Seat.  Then she added her Silver in Trail!
Melissa: She earned her Gold medal in Dressage!
Jessie:  Earned her Silver medal in Stock Seat Equitation (and a High Blue in Showmanship)!

And other highlights:
Sara D:  won Hunt Seat Equitation under both judges in the tough Intermediate group
Desi L: and Shauna had good days in their first ever 4-H show
Tessa: showed everyone she was more than ready to move up from the Novice to the Junior division
Cait:  completed her first 4-H show with Robin.
Allison:  won Bareback Equitation under both judges and earned Top 5 Award for Seniors.  All this inspite of some pretty scary bucks from Harley in Trail and Supreme Stock Seat!
Elizabeth and Montana with Bronze and Silver medals!
Melissa with Gold Dressage Medal!
Jessie and Pete - Silver Medalists in Stock Seat!
